Beyond the Classroom

There is more to learning than structured classroom, formal instructor-led or web-based training. In fact, these account for only about 10% of what we learn.

Research has shown that most people learn and retain knowledge from practice and experience. 90% of learning happens out of the classroom through a combination of social and experiential learning.

If you want to build new skills or enhance current ones, the first step is to meet with your manager to discuss a Development Plan. Development activities that are tied to your objectives should include opportunities for collaboration and hands-on practice.
