CareWay* PEAQ (Physician Efficiency, Appropriateness, and QualitySM) is an evidence-based data and analytics program that measures a physician%u2019s entire performance around three core areas: efficiency (cost), appropriateness and quality. PEAQ ratings may be used as a guide when choosing a provider. Members are encouraged to consider all relevant information and to consult with their primary care provider when selecting a specialist. Not all plans/members have access to PEAQ ratings. PEAQ-related information is not presently available in Provider Finder for any HMO networks.
