• Wellbeing Management: Our approach to health care management approach provides members with the health resources they need so your focus stays on the success of your business. A simplified digital experience and engagement communication strategy allows us to guide members, especially those with chronic or complex conditions that can be difficult to manage, to ensure appropriate and cost-effective care. Earlier identification of health needs triggers targeted personalized interventions that lower costs and improve outcomes. As a result, new programs have led to more effective member engagements and measurable savings for employers in the average range of $10-$30 per employee per month.
• Health Advocacy Solutions: Health Advocacy Solutions helps get all members involved in managing their health. The personal experience shows members how much they are valued, while at the same time, making it easier to administer in one stop with flexible engagement options to meet employers’ culture and cost-savings goals. Health Advocacy Solutions has reached 90% member satisfaction and employers have seen savings grow to an average of $40-$60 per employee per month
• Behavioral Health: The Behavioral Health program includes options to help meet our members’ needs throughout their mental health journey. In 2022, our Behavioral Health program added Digital Mental Health, powered by Learn to Live. This offers members a convenient way to address mental health concerns, support from licensed coaches and more. We also know that some behavioral conditions require a more specialized approach. Established programs such as the autism response team, the eating disorder care team and our Risk Identification and Outreach (RIO) model effectively address the challenges inherent in managing these conditions.
• Strategic Business Partners: Health Advocacy Solutions and Wellbeing Management benefit from vendor-based digital programs:
• Livongo provides end-to-end diabetes management with the help of a glucose meter and personalized support from a Certified Diabetes Educator. The Livongo high blood pressure program provides tools to monitor blood pressure, manage nutrition and understand blood pressure trends. In 2022, we added Livongo’s Whole Person program to help members managing multiple comorbid conditions.
• Omada^® integrates remote monitoring tools, educational curriculum, and social community support to provide obesity-related chronic disease prevention. The Omada for high blood pressure program provides a customized experience to improve blood pressure control through online education.
• Wondr Health (formerly Naturally Slim) is a weight loss and metabolic syndrome management solution that teaches healthy eating behaviors.
• Hinge Health uses a wearable sensor to provide convenient physical therapy sessions and supports members to overcome chronic musculoskeletal pain without drugs or surgery. We expanded the Hinge Health offering in 2022 with the Digital MSK Clinic to support members through their entire MSK journey from prevention to post-surgical.
• Women’s and Family Health: The comprehensive Women’s and Family Health program offers a modern and flexible app-based coaching approach to pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and parenting support delivered by Ovia Health.
• Well onTarget^®: No matter where our members are on the health continuum, Well onTarget has something for them. This digital portal provides members with self-directed coaching, access to telephonic and digital coaching, and interactive resources about nutrition and weight topics. Members benefit from different programs, such as:
• Interactive Health Coaching: Our Well onTarget coaching offerings include programs for stress management, improving fitness and nutrition, tobacco cessation, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, weight reduction, and maintaining weight. Members who join the online program receive calls from a personal health coach to set goals and give continuous support to help them reach their goals.
• Health Assessments: Health assessments through Well onTarget create a personalized member experience. The initial assessment is a starting point that provides members with a Personal Wellness Report that includes recommended goals and steps to help them work toward their life plan. Additional health assessments can be completed twice a year and offer updated recommendations to keep members engaged throughout their health care journey.
• Well onTarget Communications: Engagement doesn’t end with assessments. Members receive personalized wellness communication with additional encouragement through our Well onTarget® product. Based on data shown to drive engagement in our wellness programs, these communications provide on-site tools and resources to promote member wellness.
• Biometric Screenings and Flu Shots: The workplace is a prime setting to address common health and wellness challenges. On-site biometric screenings and flu shots can be offered as independent events or part of a workplace health fair. Our service goes beyond just a screening or a shot: each member receives 10 minutes of coaching, which is enough time to review results and provide recommendations.
• Incentives: Behavior is the leading driver of health status, and our Incentives program gives employers the ability to reward members for making smart choices about their health. Incentives increase participation in employer-sponsored programs, such as biometric screenings and annual physicals, and help to control future costs.
