2024-2025 Medicare Supplement Bonus Program
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois is pleased to announce the Medicare Supplement Bonus Program for 2024 - 2025. You can help the growing population of Medicare-eligible adults while earning a bonus. Make up to $100 per new Medicare Supplement policy sold.
The details: The program begins April 1, 2024, and runs through Jan. 31, 2025.
- Sell up to 50 new policies, your bonus per policy is $50
- Sell up to 100 new policies, your bonus per policy is $75
- Sell 101+ new policies, your bonus per policy can be up to $100
- These must be new policies, as rewrites will not be counted.
- You must sell a minimum of five new policies during the program period to qualify.
Terms & Conditions
- Only new BCBSIL Medicare Supplement Insurance policies qualify for the bonus program. Renewals or rewrites do not count.
- High Deductible plans (F and G, G Plus) and Select plan N are not counted as part of the bonus program.
- An existing BCBSIL Medicare Advantage plan subscriber who moves to a Medicare Supplement Insurance policy does not qualify.
- All Medicare Supplement Insurance policies must be in force at the time of calculation: Jan. 31, 2025. For example, if a policy is sold and then terminates within the program period, the policy will not qualify. Also, new policies that undergo a producer of record transfer during the program period will only count toward the bonus of the producer of record at the time of calculation.
- Eligibility is based on the production of a writing producer/sub-producer.
- Payment will be made to the submitting Agency.
- Third-Party Marketing Organizations (TMOs) are included in the program.
- Under 65 disabled Medicare Supplement Insurance policies do NOT count toward the bonus.
- The bonus will be paid within 60 to 90 days from the end of the program: Jan. 31, 2025.
- Payment of the bonus will be included in the normal monthly commission statement.
