Reminder: Certify to Sell BCBSIL MAPD/PDP PlansApplies to: Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans (MAPD) and Stand-alone Prescription Drug Plans (PDP)
To sell our Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans (MAPD) and stand-alone prescription drug plans (PDP), you must complete both parts of the certification training:
- Part 1: America’s Health Insurance Plans’ (AHIP) Medicare certification training
- Part 2: Blue Cross Medicare OptionsSM certification training
The certification curricula for both Part 1 and Part 2 are available on the CMP site.
New this Year: 2019 Certification Curriculum Announcement
Producers who have not completed the 2019 training will be assigned a dual-plan-year curriculum for both 2019 and 2020. The combined curriculum will satisfy the Blue Cross Medicare Options certification requirement for both 2019 and 2020 plan years.
